How we are structured and held to account
The structures, policies and controls we operate under
The Corps Ventures Private Limited is governed by its board of directors. Day-to-day authority is delegated to the leadership group, and every contract is signed off by a named director before work begins.
Projects above our internal value threshold, first jobs of a new building type and sites with unusual structural or approval conditions are reviewed by an independent advisory council before acceptance.
No client, vendor or subcontractor is onboarded without identity and entity verification, and no property transaction proceeds without source-of-funds checks. Where documentation cannot be completed, we decline rather than proceed on trust.
Where the company, a director or an advisor has an interest in a counterparty, that interest is disclosed in writing to the client before the transaction moves forward, and the person concerned steps back from the decision.
Scope, fees, milestones and refund terms are agreed in writing before work starts. We do not take undisclosed commissions from either side of a transaction, and any referral income is declared.
Each project is assessed for structural, approval, title and counterparty risk, and the assessment is refreshed before the contract is signed. Risks that cannot be mitigated are disclosed to the client rather than discounted.
Client documents are held on controlled systems with access limited to the team working the file. Nothing is shared with a vendor, a lender or a counterparty without your written instruction.
Engagement letters, diligence files, approvals and fee records are retained for the period required by law and are available for statutory audit and for client inspection on reasonable notice.
